Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Powder & Ranch Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of buttermilk powder
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of chives
- 1 tablespoon of parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon of dill
Double or triple this recipe to make larger batches of this powder if you use it frequently! It will store well in the fridge for at least a year. You’ll know if it goes bad.
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients and mix them thoroughly
- Store in a air tight glass container in the fridge (the dried buttermilk will stay good for longer this way)
How to make ranch with the powder:
- 1 cup of homemade mayo (seed oil free)
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of ranch powder
- Mix thoroughly & store in the fridge
Notes:
- 2 tablespoons of this powder = one packet of ranch for recipes
- Organic seasonings are going to be best to use (if possible)
